Saturday, November 14, 2015 - Vegas Valley Vettes Car Show & Turkey Shoot from 9AM - 3PM at Clark County Shooting Complex, 11357 North Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas NV 89131 will benefit the homeless Veterans of Las Vegas through U.S. VETS, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization. Car Show registration will start at 8AM and cost $30.00. Early registration before November 1 will be $25.00, plus you will receive a free car wash from Terrible Herbst. The first 150 registered will also receive a goodie bag. The Turkey Shoot will be $5.00 per shot with ammo provided. You will be shooting at a paper target, and the BB closest to the center will be the winner. This is a lucky shoot. If you don't have a shotgun, one will be provided for use. So dust off your car and your shotgun. You can bring your hand gun or rifle or shotgun and go to the public pistol & rifle range or shoot trap & skeet all for a modest cost. There will be vendors, food, Raffle, and fun. We hope you and your club will come out and support our Homeless Veterans. We live in the land of the free because of the brave! Of the homeless population in Las Vegas 12% are veterans. Nationwide each night there are 58,000 veterans sleeping on the streets. There is something wrong when this can happen in the United States, so we are doing our part to try to correct this situation. Will you help by supporting our event? The homeless veterans are our forgotten veterans. People see them on the sidewalk and they do everything to avoid them. The U.S.VETS - Las Vegas work hard to get them back on their feet and make them part of society once again. Please see the Event Flyer with entry form. Vendors are wanted. See the Vendor Form for more information. All money raised from the Turkey Shoot, Raffle, Car Show and Vendor's spaces, minus our expenses, will be donated to U.S.VETS - Las Vegas to benefit The Homeless Veterans of Las Vegas. Vegas Valley Vettes does not profit one cent from this event. Our members cars will be displayed, but will not be part of the judging. Thank you and thank you for helping our Homeless Veterans!
